Arrive in Shanghai in the afternoon, and you will be warmly greeted at the airport. We will then take private coach to Suzhou – “Venice of the Orient” . Visit the famous Taipingfang Mosque upon arrival. On the way to hotel , we will have an outside tour to Golden Rooster Lake. The evening will be spent at Guan Qian Street – the city’s most famous cultural street.
To see the historic Suzhou, The Couple’s Garden (also named Ouyuan Garden) is the best place to explore. It was originally built in early Qing Dynasty, and expanded in 1874 by a government officer, intending to retreat with his beloved wife. A boat tour there will take you into a world of exquisiteness and tranquilness. Stop by at Silk Store to get the best products. Head to Hangzhou by private coach, and afternoon prayers will be held at Phoenix Mosque – one of the four ancient Mosques in China. Following is Song Dynasty Ancient Street, a living picture bringing you back to a summit period of Chinese culture. Check into hotel for rest.
What makes the city “Paradise on Earth” is its world renowned West Lake. Divided into 5 sub-lakes by two causeway and one hill, the perfect mixture mountains, lakes, bridges and architectures has won countless praises around the world. A cruise will be provided to take us into the picturesque world. Our other programs here include Lotus Garden and Tea House at Well Dragon Tea Village. After a well served Hala, we will go back to Shanghai and check in. Enjoy the fabulous night view at The Bund and Nanjing Shopping Road.
The tour to Shanghai Old Town opens a brand new day. Built in early Ming Dynasty (more than 600 years ago), it consists buildings of fabulous styles with various shops and is the best place to see the life of local people. We will head to Xiao Tao Yuan Mosque in the afternoon. With a history of more than 100 years, it is the most famous one in Shanghai. Coming up is some shopping time at Herbal Medicine Center, and Jewelry Shop will presents inexpensive and popular items. The last place is Shanghai New World – a perfect mix of the old and the new.
We will have a delightful visual feast on a coach ride after check-out – the significant Pudong New Developed Area and China Pavilion of World Expo 2010. And private transfer is ready for your Pudong International Airport departure.
